The Plot
A group of people are invited to attend a special sneak preview of a new film, by a man in a mysterious metallic mask. When the people arrive for the film, they discover that a mask very similar to the one the man was wearing is on display in the lobby. Strangely enough, this exact mask is also featured in the movie. For no apparant reason, violent occurences in the film (connected to the mask) begin to actually occur in the theatre as one by one, the moviegoers are transformed into drooling, ravenous "demons"! As the survivors discover that a demon's scratch or bite will change anyone into a demon, they must make a stand to try and survive the gruesome onslaught.

The Movie
This movie is a perfect example of a pure, cheesy, eighties B-movie splatterfest. Everything about the movie seems bad. The English voiceovers (dubbed from Italian) are awful and don't really fit the characters. There's no explanation for the happenings or any real reason to care for the countless characters/victims.

So why do I love this movie so much? It could be the fantastic special effects and cringe-inducing yet incredible gore. It could be the sheer cheesiness of it or the over-the-top violence. Whatever it is, it sure is effective because I can't help but love it! The plot is non-existent but that just makes this a brainless, bloody movie that exists for one reason... to entertain and it excels at that.

I recommend seeing this movie, especially fans of the Evil Dead series because it reminded me of that on some aspects. Simple solid entertainment with no other redeeming values... that's what B-movies are all about! Gotta love em!

The DVD
The DVD is unfortunetly bare-bones. The menus are the same blurry background and the features are certaintly nothing to get excited about. We get a standard Commentary track, the trailer (which is comprised entirelly of music, no spoken dialouge whatsoever), some cast and crew bios and behind-the-scenes footage.

The footage is done in Italian and therefore has english subtitles. It only lasts a little over one minute, but while it lasts, it is informitive mainly on special effects. Still, I think this movie deserved more or at least more of the behind the scenes information.
