I believe that, in the recent past, I had some experiences that I can only describe as supernatural. I go fishing alone at different places and sometimes stay until it gets dark. At one of the locations, usually around the time I start to head back home, I began to sense that I wasn't alone and even became expectative of seeing something - though that never actually happened and I never felt scared or apprehensive. Then one day I went fishing there and (as usual) didn't decide to come back home until dusk had begun to set in.

In order to get back to my car I had to cross a field with many trees and bushes. Suddenly, while walking the narrow path which leads through that place, I started feeling goose bumps. All my instincts told me that I was being watched; the feelings were very strong and I was scared of seeing an apparition in every turning of the path. I have never been that frightened before. I reached my vehicle safely; I didn't see anything but, without any doubt, I felt it.

Afterwards, I did my best to forget all about that experience. I suppose that, like a lot of folks, I did a good job of convincing myself that nothing had really happened - at least nothing you could touch, feel or prove. A few days later I went fishing in the same place; I finished fishing and left at dusk again; on my way to the car I start feeling scared again like before and I believed something was there! I heard a weird sound too - it reminded me of a hammer striking an anvil.

I will never go to that place by myself again.

I am curious about ghosts and stuff like that; I'd previously had other supernatural experiences, but I was never scared by any of them in the same way. Conversations with local people did not reveal anything significant about the place's past history; I have not had any opportunity to examine any records which might establish who owned the land or if any powerful event(s) likely to imprint it ever transpired there. However, I did return to the field, path and wooded areas with a friend for company and I took some photographs.

I am not an expert in either supernatural or photographic topics, but it was immediately obvious that the pictures contained things that were strange and disturbing. I passed them on to some people with more experience in paranormal investigation. At their request, I went back to the area and took some more photographs at around the same time (dusk) that I'd had my first frightening experience. As you will see, the second set of pictures were just as unsettling as the first.

Somebody told me told that there is a "gentleman" with me at all the times, a protectful and helpful presence who often tries to pass on information to me. I believe that - but it doesn't frighten me.
