PLOT
A snail like creature which has been created to start life
on mars has escaped and it appears that it likes the taste of human
flesh.
REVIEW
BOOORING! The whole movie was REALLY dull and REALLY unoriginal and
REALLY confusing and most important of all, REALLY BAD! The killer
alien slug is so unbelievably fake and looks totally CGI...
The killings are all of screen, and just like everybody else, I HATE
off screen killings. The acting is bad aswell, a lot of familiar
faces from cheesy tv series, the directing is ok though.
To begin with, we never get to know why these people want to steal
Project V.I.P.E.R. which by the way I have no idea what it stands
for. The next thing is that the movie is more of an action movie
than a horrormovie, it works like an X-File episode, but as a movie?
Nope, I don't think so! One thing I'm quite surprised about though
is the fact that it actually made me jump two times, and there are
not many movies who manage to do that.
Like many of todays killer animal flicks, they overuse the cgi...
While the idea of a giant killer slug isn't too bad, the idea of
guns in a horrormovie is always a bad thing and this sure has a lot
of meaningless gunfire. I can't write a very long review for a movie
which is as shitty as this, it has already taken up way to much of
my life, all I have to say is, AVOID THIS AT ANY COST, if you do
decide to watch this still, don't say I didn't warn you!
GORE
NO FUN AT ALL! We get some cgi piercings from the slug but nothing
that involves any gore, some bloodsplatter is the only thing that
we get to see, and we sure don't get to see that a lot either.
SOUNDTRACK
A very sucky soundtrack that puts no effort into bringing suspense
into the movie, although, I have to give this credit for giving me
those two jumps.
BOTTOM LINE
This really should have just been a TV movie, cause throwing out money
on this piece of garbage will just make you cry after watching it,
the movie is very bad and has NOTHING going for it!
