REVIEW
When I started watching this, I realised that I had seen a TV-spot
for it about half a year ago, but I thought it looked like a cheap
tv-thriller back then... Well, I guess I judge movies by their covers
as the cover was the thing that made me want to see the movie. Well,
I am happy I did, because this movie was actually quite good....
It was the most original slasher that I've seen in a couple of years.
This movie plays on people's phobias and that is NEVER a bad concept.
As I'm personally afraid of heights myself, I could really feel what
they were going through, I think that helps a movie a lot, as many
people are afraid of heights, even though this was a bit extreme.

The title says 'Wes Cravens Don’t Look Down', but what I would like to
know is what the hell he did to have with this movie? Megan Ward does
a descent attempt to play Carla, but I don't feel that she's very
believable. The directing was the usual TV movie feeling, you know
what I'm talking about, you can smell that it was made for TV the
second you started watching it, well, at least I should be
grateful that they didn't have those stupid fade outs so that
commercials can be squeezed in, which most TV movies do.

The movie wasn't very long and at many times in the movie, I felt
that I could've used a couple of flashbacks to remember what
happened and such, many movies overdo the flashbacks (Bogeyman 2),
but this under does it, very strange. The movie has a lot of plot
holes, but what can I say? It's a TV movie, they are supposed to
have plot holes. Overall, I thought this movie was pretty neat, and
I'll probably see it again sometime, when I'm out of new movies that is...

GORE
Not a drop of blood, very disappointing Craven!

SOUNDTRACK
Well, it has some piano music and strings, but nothing memorable though.

BOTTOM LINE
I thought this movie was pretty good and worth a rent, but be aware,
this is a TV movie and it does nothing to try to hide it.
