FRIDAY THE 13TH PART X: JASON X

PLOT
It's in the 2400th century and Jason is ones again back to continue his
murder spree. In 2008 Jason was captured and frozen, now some students
on a spaceship has found him. They had no intentions of bringing him back
to life, they got that for free. After 400 years, Jason's craving for
slaughtering people still hasn't weakened, and it makes no difference
where he is, as long as there are people to kill.

REVIEW
The sequel hated by sooo many people... why? I ask. Jason X is by far
better than Jason Goes To Hell. But does anyone agree with me that Jason
doesn't seem to be a person anymore but more like a creature thingy?
Ok there are many things that suck in this movie, but aren't there things
in every Friday The 13th movies that suck? To name a few, in part one,
it was the mother and not Jason! now that sucked ass. In part two, Jason
had a bag over his head instead of a hockey mask, what was that all about?
I don't remember a lot from part three, four or five so I will leave
those out of this. Part 6 was kind of brilliant, best of the Friday The
13th movies. Part 7, common are you kidding me? The girl who can move
things with her mind or whatever? Talk about sucky! In part 8 the ending
was absolute rubbish and in part 9 just about everything sucked,
especially the part where Jason turns into a wormlike creature.

The acting is average and bad, the only character I really liked was
Janessa (Melyssa Ade) who will probably star in some teenage comedy soon
and make a big break through as she is a very good actress. James Isaac
does a rather good job on the directing part, even though it can't be
very easy with all the crappy special effects they threw in everywhere.

I agree that bringing Jason out to space was a crappy idea, but let's
face it, every franchise should have one. We have Hellraiser 4: Bloodline,
which sucked donkey ass, but the franchise wouldn't be the same without
it. We have Leprechaun 4: In Space, which also sucks but we accept it
anyway. All we're waiting for is A Nightmare On Elm Spaceship and
Michael X: Halloween Will Never Die. This movie would have been a whole
lot better if they would just have skipped silly comments like "He's
Screwed" when a guy has a big screw machine through his stomach. Also,
the use of guns and weapons was totally unnecessary, common, don't they
ever get that it takes just a bit more than that to kill Jason?
Pathetic yes, entertaining, definitely.

GORE
Common Friday The 13th fans, this has to be the goriest of them all,
what's not to like? A lot of people get things through their stomachs,
machetes, screw machines, big hooks and other stuff. A lot of body part
removals aswell, a guy gets his arm dismembered and some guy get his head
chopped off. Then we also have a slit throat scene and some body slicing,
cutting bodies in half and such. Also, one gets ones head down in some
liquid, making the face completely weird and looks frozen and then smashed
into a table so that the whole head falls to pieces.

SOUNDTRACK
The soundtrack is all pretty cool, except the cheesy music played in the
scene where that woman gets defrozen.

BOTTOM LINE
A sequel that many hates for a reason I have yet to find out. The bottom
line is that I liked this movie, and common, you know this isn't a master-
piece so don't say that it ruins the F13th reputation, because it's just
as good as the other ones in my opinion.
