DEATHBED

PLOT
Karen and Jerry is a young happy couple and they have just moved into
their dream apartment. One day they find a bed in a storage room and
decide to use it as they have no other bed, only a mattress. But unknowing
of what they did, they just unleashed a very evil force into their own apartment.

REVIEW
Deathbed starts out as a soft porn movie, and stays that way for about 50 minutes,
but after that, it takes a quick turn and gets very suspenseful and even bring
you a few jumps. Still, with the soft porn having taken up more than half of the
movie I cannot give this a very high rating at all, and the end wasn't very
good either, it was just a turn for the better.

The acting is by no means bad, but how hard can it be to dig up three actors?
That's basically how many people there are in this movie, 3. Then we have like
a few quick appearances of people here and there. The directing is average for
Full Moon films so you know what to expect. I felt as if some scenes could've
been directed better and perhaps a bit more interesting, though I totally dug
the opening scene which was cleverly directed.

The plot is weak since just about everything happens in that damned bed, why
do you think it turned out to be soft porn? They have to think of things to do
in the bed. With a better story, perhaps the couple could have had a son or
a daughter that would build up the suspense in some way, I would have liked
this a whole lot better. But the truth is, since I only enjoyed about 10 minutes
of the film, I have a hard time giving this more than one star.

GORE
It's shocking how little gore we get in this movie considering that it is a
Full Moon production. All we get is a long intestine lying around and a guy
gets his faced bashed in with a hammer.

SOUNDTRACK
As the movie itself, the soundtrack feels very much like you're watching a
porno flick. Except the 20's-30's something music that we get in the opening
scene, and a bit at the end.

BOTTOM LINE
I wouldn't stretch myself to saying that this is worth a watch, cause really,
it's not. Everything about the movie is very weak, the plot, the directing,
the acting (quite alright but not excellent), the gore and the soundtrack.
I don't see any reason why anyone should throw money out for seeing this movie.
