BLOODTHIRST: LEGEND OF THE CHUPACABRAS

PLOT
Many years ago, a small village in Alabama was terrorized by
chupacabra until a local hero ended the terror by killing them.
Now, about fifty years later, the chupacabras have returned to
set terror in the small village once again.

REVIEW
Not too long ago I watched a documentary about the chupacabra on
discovery. Since I love legends and myths, I quickly logged onto the
net to check out if there had been any horrormovies made involving
the chupacabra. All I came up with was a Troma production called
"Legend Of the Chupacabra" so I decided to check it out despite the
fact that I usually despise Troma movies deeply. To my surprise it
was even worse than I thought it would be. When I went down to the
rental store the other day and saw that a new horrormovie about the
chupacabra had been released, this time under the more inviting title,
"Bloodthirst: Legend Of The Chupacabras", I just had to check it out
to see if it was better than Tromas movie. It wasn't. It was if
possible even worse!

The acting is incredibly bad, even for a low budget movie. There isn't
even one actor or actress that gives us an average performance. Well,
low budget movies are often quite bad at making us root for the actors,
but this takes the price! They just threw in new people here and there
for no reason as the movie went along, making it even more difficult
for us to root for anyone. The directing is just poor and looks very
amateurish. I bet that anyone could've made this look better with a camcorder.

Yet another disappointing chupacabra film, now I'll just have to wait
until York Entertainment releases their movie "El Chupacabra" later this
year. I usually like York's movies so I'm guessing it will be the best
out of the three. This movie was just another sequel to the infamous
attack of the killer box arts. Trust me, this movie does not live up
to its cover at all, we didn't even get to see the chupacabras once.
All we got to see were their hands. All I can say is that I am happy
that I didn't buy this movie as it was one of the worst movies of all time.

GORE
After that review you expect gore? Oh come on! I would at least have
given it some good notes in my review if we got to see blood once in
a while, this is just as dry as it gets.

SOUNDTRACK
Sounds like they had a go on the first computer ever made here by making
all these weird, inappropriate tracks that sounded like they just came
out of some cheesy lowbudget 80's slasher or something. We get everything
from cheesy guitar music to even cheesier piano music.

BOTTOM LINE
One of the worst movies of all time, there was nothing to like about
this movie at all, it even had the long running time of 86 minutes!
Avoid this at all cost, even if they give out free special edition
DVD copies at Wal-Mart, you still have to say no, it is nothing that
you want in your collection, believe me.
