One year after the Fabrizio DeAngelis’s exceptionally cheesy Killer Crocodile was released, special effects man Giannetto DeRossi decided to pickup his fake looking rubber croc again and direct his own sequel.

Anyway, picking up from more or less from where the previous film left off, and starting in a much similar vein (another couple get munched on at a lake), we see the chemical company from the previous film getting their come-uppance when the killer croc starts snacking on their employees.

Anthony Crenna and Thomas Moore reprise their roles from the previous film, returning to hunt down the new killer croc. Only this time they’re joined by a nosy news journalist played by Debra Karr.

Looking even more rubbery and fake than before, there are some absolute howlers in the film as the croc upturns a motor boat full of school kids and nuns, then proceeds to chomp on them. Three guys in a cabin refuse to believe their friends story about a giant croc in the swamp, then right on cue it bursts in through the side wall and devours them.

One of those films that is enjoyable for all the wrong reasons. Dumber, cheesier and stupider, If you enjoyed the last film, you’ll get a blast out of this one.

Film score : 4/10.

Other Information.

• This was only the second film that Gianetto DeRossi has ever directed. The first one was the Italian film "Cy Warrior : Special Combat Unit".

• Although Riz Ortolani is credited for the music again, the soundtrack was basically rehashed from the first film to save on money.

• Original director Fabrizio DeAngelis had nothing to do with producing the film he did return to co-write the script with Ginaetto DeRossi and Dardanno Sacchetti.

• Anthony Crenna appears to have sunk back into obscurity after appearing in the film. Indeed, his only film credits appear to be Killer Crocodile 1 & 2.

• Script co-writer Dardanno Sacchetti also worked on "City of the Living Dead", "The Last Hunter", "Cannibal Apocalypse", "House by the Cemetery", "Cut and Run" and "Demons 2". He also did uncredited work on "Zombie Flesh Eaters" and "Amityville 2 : The Possession".
