"Abbott And Costello Meet Frankenstein" is the king of horror comedys. A&C make a great comeback as Universal's Classic Monsters go out in style. Glenn Strange actually gets to speak as Frankie this time. Bela Lugosi returns as Dracula for the second time and gives it his all. Chaney IS the Wolfman. Vincent Price is a surprise visitor at the end. The monsters are played straight and have just enough chills while responding to A&C's routines. The monster scenes look great and this was a fitting way to say goodbye to classic black and white horror.
