Here, I, would like to showcase all you up and coming authors/authoress's by
allowing you to have your dark writings displayed here for all to read.
To have your own horror stories placed here, all you need to do is send me
your story as well as your name and site address (if you have one). You will
then have your story placed upon it's own page, if you wish, you may also
include a short biography to go at the base of your story. Needless to say
your stories shall be credited to you.
- Submission -
In losing myself, I lose my soul. In losing myself, I lose my spirit, once so
strong, but now so weak. In losing myself, I lost the precious gem, the gem
that only I could hold and the very thing that made me human.
Humans. Six billion intelligent and not so intelligent, beings that crawl along
the earth. So insignificant; petty lives. Born into the world with lives so
promising, to rot in a grave, lost and forgotten.
But they don't know of those who sleep by day, to slip away into the night.
Just to press one's teeth against another's neck, to abandon everything that
you are, to bleed the blood of the one who takes your being and makes it his
own. You did this to me.
You, sleeping by day and silently floating among the trees of the deepest forests
by night. Your blood is killing me slowly; we are not compatible. Your presence
cancels out my presence, you take my shell and throw it to the wolves. I shall
die my immortal death, slower and less painful than the mortal death that might
have occurred otherwise.
I hardly feel myself at all. You, my love and my Devil, are the puppeteer that
ties me to strings and controls me how you see fit. I taste your blood on my
lips, the cherished metallic taste, and I submit to you in a way that my mind
cannot comprehend.
See?
You may have taken my body, my spirit, but you cannot take my mind. That belongs
to me and me alone, the only part that I own and the part that whispers through
the darkness, where I wait for you to find me, to save me. For you speak to me,
in a whisper that does not ruffle feathers yet a whisper that I hear loudly.
You are near me in the darkness; you are the light I can feel but cannot see.
Your light comforts me; no one can compare to you. Which is why I'll not leave
you. Even when Hell takes me from your embrace and your blood; and you will try
to discard me in order to find your next, pretty, human virgin. For you have
everything but my mind, the one part of me that I and not you, have control over.
That is what will be your downfall, for I am lost in you and cannot find my way
home. We are attached together by your blood and I shall remain inside of you for
all eternity.
