Occasionally, I have been known to write some poetry. Of course, it is not just
any kind of poetry, but dark, twisted, horror related type of poetry.
I have placed some of what I consider my better attempts below. If you think you
can rival my mind for sheer dementedness and can write your own horror inspired
poetry, then send it to me. If I agree, I will place it below for the rest of
my visitors to behold in awe. Remember though, it must be related to the horror
genre in some way. Any "gothic suicidal type of mush" will not be considered.
There sites catering for this all over the internet. Here I want something
different from the norm. Something to worry any psychologists reading this out
there. After all, we're constantly reminded how horror films corrupt out our minds,
so lets prove them right.

Unwed.

The stages of the undead, are very clear.
You have died, turned from hell, instead you are in no-man's-where.

I couldn't understand, then why to marry they called it "unwed."
I was to avow with a living man, (out of the clan) yes - a host who had never fed.

Whoever he was I hated him, felt as if I were stuck in mud.
I was forced, things were grim and there began my grudge.

I let the hands dress me and now that I was dressed.
I drank the blood goblet completely, but threw up, because I couldn't digest.

I waited in the foyer underneath an arch.
Thought: how to this hell was just a broiler then heard the wedding march.

And as I paced to the altar I glared at all the guests.
To them I was just a daughter to be given away at request.

I saw the host so eager knowing what he wanted to become.
The words grew weaker as louder I could hear the executioner's drum.

I was now a wife I could hear the 'blessing chants.'
But decided to take my life in my own hands.

And when we were alone finally and he waited for the bite -
I decided to make a debauchery of my wedding night!

I feasted on him not, just ripped out his heart!
Drank not a single drop, saved the best part.

"I couldn't make you a vampire your sleep is per-ma-nent.
But what did transpire?
For now I am.... an-un-wed."
