The story:
Larry Talbot, supposedly dead after being transformed into a wolf man by
a gypsy curse, returns from the grave to commit a series of murders after
grave robbers disturb his tomb. Seeking death to end the curse, he goes
to Europe to find the Gypsy Maleva, whom he believes can help him.
With Maleva, he tries to locate the Frankenstein diary, which holds
the key to his fate.
During the search, Larry again changes to the wolf man and in a mad
attempt to escape the villagers, finds and makes friends with the
Frankenstein monster. Maleva discovers them together and prevails
upon Larry to return to the village. Larry wishes to buy the Frankenstein
castle but Baroness Frankenstein refuses to sell.
Soon after, the wolf man kills a girl. Dr. Mannering and the Baroness
find Larry and promise to help him die. Meanwhile the monster becomes
enraged.
Larry changes to the wolf man and grapples with the monster as a
villager dynamites a dam. Quickly flood waters flood over the castle.
The monster and the wolf man are caught in the swirling cataract.
