9/22/02 News! Check out the press for The Body Farm in The Nashville Rage!
Friday, the 19th was rained out... it was a bummer for all! We took advantage of the situation and visited our fiends at Slaughterhouse and
The Devil's Dungeon! We got to the VIP FRIGHT TOUR... Go see them! We had a frightfully good time!
Even though Friday was rained out... that downpour supplied the woods with mother nature's own special effects for Saturday the 20th! It was simply
AWSauME! The woods were shrouded with a low misty fog adding to the macabre terror they already possess.
The full moon

was bright (occasionally, one could see a cloud circle which added to the intensity) The movement of the clouds--combined with the moon was otherworldly.
We had guests from Cincinnati (as we did opening weekend)... who drove down just to see The Body Farm! They weren't disappointed!
Other guests included Angie, our FedEx friend, and family... and one particular group went couldn't get enough of The Body Farm... they went through twice!
Picnic tables are now out so you can 'catch your breath' after your ghastly tour of the Moreland house and woods. Sit down, enjoy a drink, nachos or hotdog/hamburger!
The night was cool and we were able to start our first bonfire! There is nothing better than the smell, crackle and glow from a bonfire... blended with the macabre...
We now have available at concessions really cool Halloween balloons... Unusual ones that we've never seen til now... from masks to full skeletons...holograms... and the like!
Today (9/22) is the
The Autumn Equinox. Days and nights are equal... and the nights become increasingly longer. In Greek mythology, Persephone (Queen of the Underworld) returns to her husband, Hades, at the Autumn Equinox. It is a time of balance and of celebration of harvest.
This week, thanks to our dear fiend and partner in crime,
Donna Weathers, we will have digital
photos online!
One last thing... we must again thank the actors and staff! The Moreland legend comes to life because of you!
WOW!
9/15/02 News!
Thanks to all who made opening weekend a blast!
Special thanks goes to the actors and staff for making The Body Farm the "Fright-Fest" it is!
Added thanks to Dr. Gangrene and crew... they came out and filmed an episode for their broadcast of House on Haunted Hill. (Note: There is something in the water in the East Nashville-Madison area of Nashville... Dr. Gangrene, and The Body Farm Creators are all from that area!)
Concessions were delicious! Thanks! Y'all remember to come out hungry!
