The empty latex rubber skins, they don't
look like much straight out of the box.
In order to plump out the gargoyles and make them three-dimensional, we needed some sort of framework inside.
The skeleton is not intended to be anatomically correct.
It merely provides necessary support.
It is designed to leave as much empty space inside the garg as possible.
We used the following PVC parts to make the skeletons (all 1/2" schedule 40):
