BASIC Stamp Family

The Prop-1 controller is built using the BASIC Stamp-1. The BASIC Stamp is actually a member of a large family of
controllers from Parallax.

A BASIC Stamp contains:

Programs are edited and compiled on a personal computer, then downloaded into the Stamp for storage and execution.

Most stamps are programmed in a version of the BASIC computer language.

Prop-1 History

The Prop-1 controller was originally designed by Parallax EFX, a department of Parallax, dedicated to haunters. Parallax EFX eventually spun off into a new company, EFX-TEK.
