| This picture shows preliminary work on the graveyard and the methods I use to secure the tombstones. Note the plywood "tabs" , sticking out both sides of the stones. Look closely and you can see small, black dots which are the heads of the spikes that were driven into the ground through holes drilled through the tabs. This holds the stones securely in wind, and more importantly, it provides a deterrent to vandals and mischief. Also, note the speaker rock tucked under the bush on the far right. The other speaker is positioned (out of the frame) to the far left. |
