2005 Elementary School Library was used for the 8th grade haunted house
In the beginning of the video I have a Boris skull with MP3 player to drive it. The MP3 player is split in two and half goes to portable powered speakers and the other half to the Boris Talking skull. The Boris skull is mounted on a rubber skeleton body that has been corpsed with latex tinted brown and scretchy spiderwebs for the skin.
I wanted to superimpose the image of a talking skull over a crystal ball using the "Pepper's Ghost Illusion" I tried a fader circuit on the skull illumination side, but looked cooler to just have constant illumination. The crystal ball was near impossible to illuminate without causing undo stray reflections on the glass ball. I probably would pick something different next time to illuminate onto or cover the glass sphere with a thin cloudy film.
You have direct line of sight to the crystal ball, which was a light globe from OSH for $6 and you see the light reflection of the skull at 90 degrees away. Plexiglass (mirror) hangs at 45 degrees to provide the reflection
The Skull has a servo mounted in the skull and has a Cowlacious.com circuit to drive the servo from the split audio track.

Cemetary with pneumatics pulled together with 12 hours notice Cemetary with simple popup and skull popup Tombstones detailed with flourescent paint on epitaphs Giant Big Lots Skull with MP3 player inside. Audio track from Propmaster Hanging Grim reapers detailed with flourescent paint that actors jumped out from behind. Masks were detailed with flourescent paint and actor hid among the masks under only blacklight illumination and would jump out at the TOTs. Actor in Skull Dot room hid with glowing white gloves behind their back and then would pull out the sudden appearance of the glowing hands to freak TOTs out. Skull Dot room was a huge success and I enjoyed scaring the beejeezus out of even adults. Pattern was sprayed with a wood template 2x2 ft Witch was pushed at TOTs with the flowing robes hitting them gently as they cross through a doorway.
