| I started Mr.Lamar by sculpting his head in clay and then molding it for the latex outer skin. | ||||||||||||||||||||

| I
made an inner skull from auto bondo to support the latex skin and the mechanics
for the eyes and mouth. Heady's teeth were molded from hot glue. |

| Mr.Lamar's body was constructed from aluminum stock and various parts. The whole figure was mounted to a chair. All the mechanics for his arm movement and tape player were hidden in the chair. | Then
I dressed Heady in a smart ensamble, custom made smoking jacket, white shirt
and wing tips. I made his hands using a technique developed by Jerry Chavez
of Spooky FX. |
