When a female co-worker disapears and does not show up for work, an american girl named Karen (Gellar), living in Tokyo with her boyfriend, Doug (Behr), is sent in to a local english speaking house to take over care of a sick elderly woman.
A bizarre and terrifying encounter follows apon entering the house and Karen is in the heart of an haunting nightmare, a curse of evil born from a horrific crime in the house that ended the lives of its previous oppupants. It's not just a curse within the walls
of this house, but one that plagues it's evil apon anyone who enters or even calls the house, cursing them wherever they go to the point of never being see again.....alive! In the style of The Ring (2002)
