ONe of the top two in the series along with the original Child's Play. The film opens not too long after the orginal left of with two workers at the Play Pal Systems factory manually putting the supsedly "posessed" Good Guy doll "Chucky" back together to determine any malfuctions and whether or not to stop manufacturing them.One of the men is mysteriously electrocuted to death but written off as an accident. After the head of the company sees no concern in the doll even after whitnessing the accident, his assistant takes it home to get it away. He ends up getting strangled by Chucky of course and Chucky is out to hunt down young Andy Barclay again to put his soul into his body and get out of his doll prison. Andy is now in foster care as his mother is in a mental institution due to the previous events in the first film. Tracking down where Andy is staying, he takes the place of the house "Good Guy" whom he buries in the back yard, and the terror begins again! Sorry Jack, Chucky's Back!
