The fourth entry in the Child's Play series and the first to departe into the more comedy side of things. Chucky's remains are in peices after his end in part three and his old girlfriend, Tiffany, (Jennifer Tilly) from when he was alive has his remains retreived from an evidence locker. She sews Chucky back together and performs an awakening voodoo spell to awaken his soul once again in the doll. Once awakened Chucky again breaks her heart and she, angered by his words locks him in a pen with a "bride" doll. Chucky, furious of course breaks free, kills her by electocuting her by throwing a radio into her bath, and transfers her soul into the bride doll.The two dolls then go on a quest to retreive the amulete that Chucky was wearing when he was original killed in the first movie so that they can both be resurected into human bodies. Not as comical as Seed of Chucky and not as much of a departure into comedy, still has its darkness. Overall an entertaining film.

MOVIE FACTS:

In the opening scene Michael Myers' and Jason's masks (from the Halloween and Friday the 13th movies), Leatherface's chain saw (from the Texas Chainsaw Massacre movies), and Freddy Kruger's glove (from the Nightmare on Elm Street movies) are visible in other evidence lockers surrounding the locker Chucky's remains are in.

There is a character in the film named Damien Baylock. In The Omen, the satanic child is called Damien, while his evil nanny is called Mrs. Baylock.

In the opening shot, when the policeman is walking through the evidence locker room, several dolls appear. These resemble, or may actually be, from the movie series Puppet Master. They appear in the first storage case shown, on the left side of the screen.

When John Ritter's character is killed,having many nails hammered all over his face and head, his resembles Pinhead from the Hellraiser movies. Chucky says "Where have I seen that before?"
