Haunted Objects and Object Apparitions Haunted objects can also be referred too as cursed. This supernatural phenomenon is one of the strangest most puzzling enigmas of all the haunting styles. Most haunts have a ghost at the center. When dealing with haunted objects the question must be, “how are these objects haunted.” They were never alive and are void of any soul. Some haunted objects are spirit associated, meaning that the ghost of a past owner who had a powerful emotional tie to the object now haunts the objects. Still, other objects leave no clue to their curse and appear to have a life of their own. In the presence of haunted objects witnesses report all types of strange occurrences like bizarre sounds and lights coming from the rooms where the objects are stored. The objects move when no one is touching them. Dark apparitions are sometimes seen near the objects. These haunted objects can include almost any possession; jewelry, collectibles, wall clocks, and furniture are some of the more common haunted objects.
DEFINITIONS: Angel: "Messenger of God," a celestial being, benevolent in nature and if visable, appearing in human form, and possessing miraculous abilities such as teleportation, healing powers and knowledge of future events. There have been accounts of angels aiding people in times of crisis throughout the ages, albeit with no real consistency to their 'modus operandi.' Demon: Hostile and resentful entity, supposedly of non-human origin, which some believe to be "fallen (from grace) angels." Doppelganger: German for "Double-goer." A person's duplicate or identical counterpart, seen as a result of bi-locational or astral travel. This phenomenon has been overshadowed by the more modern (and viable) concept of cloning, with its speculative ramifications. Ghost: The image of a person witnessed after his/her death, reflecting the appearance of the living, physical body yet less substantial. These forms often seem to exist in a dream-like state of semi-awareness, at times though not always cognizant of their human observers.
TWO MAIN TYPES OF HAUNTINGS: residual, and intelligent. There is a third type of haunting, generally referred to as a daemonic haunting. It is my humble opinion that a haunting of this type will absolutely fall under the intelligent haunting category. A residual haunting shows you a scene or some type of image that does NOT appear to recognize you, see you, or interact with you. Examples of this would be a ghost walking into a wall and disappearing without noticing you, seeing a ghost performing what looks like regular things, as if they are not aware of their death. They would appear to be living a normal life, oblivious to you. At times, these spirits could even walk seemingly right through you and not notice. If this happens, you could experience coldness or heat, lightheaded feelings, a moment of forgetting, tingling all over the body, dread, thrill, or any combination of these sensations. An intelligent haunting means that a ghost, or disembodied voice, would try to communicate with you directly. They would speak to you, or stop and seem to look directly at you, or even touch you. In some cases, they would respond to your questions, and actually do what you ask them to do. At times, these encounters can be as real to you as if you were with someone in real life. In this type of haunting, ghosts will absolutely try to get you to notice them if they feel the need. Most ghosts have something to say, and want to speak to those willing to listen.

How many people have experienced something that they can not explain? Have you ever felt that icy wind crawl up your neck, that phantom touch on your shoulder when no one was there? Did you shake it off as your imagination, or think about it for days? These questions burn within me, but I can never seem to get any good answers. Most people asked, reply that they don't believe in ghosts, or they haven't had any experiences to think about it one way or another. Shadows....... It is commonly believed that a person’s shadow is the manifestation of the soul. If the persons shadow was injured or murdered, then the person would suffer the same fate. If a person walks on another persons shadow (or their own) it is considered bad luck. Shiver........ Its considered a bad omen if a person shivers for no apparent reason. In some cases, a shiver means that a spirit (or Death) is passing near them or through them. It could also mean that a spirit is looking at the person. In England, the place where a person shivers will be the place they will be buried. Sneezing...... Primitive people thought that a sneeze was an explosion in the persons head sent from the gods that told of either good or bad fortune depending on the circumstances of the sneeze. If a person sneezes three times before breakfast, a present would come that week. Sneezing after a meal indicates good health and a long life.
