Ouija boards
This is an area that stands in much controversy. But I feel it necessary for you to know the truth about them.
Ouija boards are a form of communication with the dead, as well as a gateway to the world of those nonhuman spirits we've talked about before. They are available in many different shapes and sizes, and are generally very cheap. However, do not let this fool you. They are very real, and can be very dangerous.
I cannot count the times in my life that I have heard others say things like You're moving it yourself, or it's just a game. However, they could not be more wrong. The ouija board is actually a device that the dead can use to talk to the living, by moving the plachette and spelling out words. However, demons can also use the board as a way to gain entrance to this world. Just in the way that seances open doors to the other side, so does the board. In the hands of a nonexperienced person, this can be dangerous...
Let's talk about that. Ouija boards, in my belief, do have their proper place and time and use. They are a useful tool in communicating with the ghost of the dead. But without the proper cautions taken, it can invite the unwanted. That's how a lot of hauntings start. Most of the time it's the ghost of someone dead that is actually into mischeif, and rarely an actual demon can cross back over.
That being said, I must advise that you not use the board. As innocent as it seems it comes with baggage. And to show you those bags, let's look at it a step at a time...
First, and absolutely foremost, NEVER USE THE OUIJA BOARD ALONE!!!!!!!!!!! I cannot put enough stress on this fact! It is dangerous! There are stages that occur with solo use of the board, known as progressive entrapment. The first is the spirit will seem nice, and will answer your questions with little hesitation. It does not take long for the spirit to literally hook you on the use of the board. Once this happens, it will begin to act more agressively. From this point the severety differs from case to case. Sometimes the spirit can get out, and wreak havoc on you and your house. However, there are instances where the person has become possessed by the spirit for extended periods of time. And although it is rare, a few reported incidents of death have occured, in the instance where the spirit was actually a demon.
Second, always be specific about who you talk to, what you ask them, and never ask them to perform acts for you, such as knocking, and the like. If it happens to be nonhuman, this will just invite it out where it can do most whatever. Also try to be specific about what spirit you contact. If there is a ghost in your house, address that one directly, and unmistakeably, so that if there more than one, there's no mixup.
Third, the ouija board should only be used by those who are experienced in manners of protection. This is a wise precaution, to say the least.
In summary, the board is both a useful and dangerous tool for communication. When used by the well knowledged, it is an asset. However, in the hands of the unexperienced, it can get ugly...
So please use discretion before you think of cool...
